Give way

S knows his stop signs and give way signs. Everytime at a give way section if we don't slow down or pause for a little he yells "Give way! Daddy give wayyyyyy"

At traffic lights he yells the colour, but sometimes when its red he yells "green" and daddy says "no it isn't" and S goes "Gotya!" and burst out laughing.

GOTYA

S has this thing where he says Gotya (gotcha) when he does something funny/silly.
He farted and I looked at him in disgust and he yells "haha gotya"
He jumps out from behind a door going "rarrrrrrr! gotya"
Playing toy cars he makes them crash and says "gotya car"

Trying to scare me

"Lookout mummy. SPIDER! Raaaarrrrrrr" *cracks up laughing* "Gotya"
(there was no spider)

(Uncle lives just around the block from us with Grandad, and we walk there often. Grandad drives a car with flashing lights so S calls it the eeeyooorreeeyyyooorrreee car).

Mummy's little helper

S helped me cook dinner. I asked him to get me an onion so he goes to the cupboard and gets one "un-yon" then i asked for two potatoes "po-tato" and he got them, so then I asked for a carrot from the fridge "carropt" and he actually got it out of the vegie drawer...so then I thought I'd ask him for something I hadn't taught him-some garlic. He went into the cupboard and got it for me!

Talking to Willow his cat

Washing time

He helped me put his clothes in the washing machine and press the buttons to turn the cycle on. When it started spinning he hugged and kissed the washing machine and said "thankyou clean clean clean"

Things my kid says

I decided to start this blog to post the funny/random/cute things my 2 year old son says as my facebook friends and twitter followers were probably sick of hearing about it. He is quite intelligent for his age and hasn't stopped talking since he was 11 months old and I just love every little thing he says and does so here is my blog "things my kid says"
